Koralmbahn report on the anchorage of the noise protection wall at bridge MA22

The steel columns of the noise protection wall should be fixed by prestressed anchor rods embedded in the concrete deck. During erection unscheduled prestressing forces were applied, leading to plastic deformations in the thread. Fatigue test on anchor rods were planned and conducted, also with the unscheduled prestressing force. The results allow to further use the anchor rods, after reducing the prestressing force.
