Profile Information

In addition to teaching, the institute performs research in soil mechanics and foundation engineering. The aim is to provide a basis for new technologies and methods in design and construction. Research activities include laboratory tests and in-situ tests, development of constitutive laws for soils and calculations based on numerical methods.
