This research on the one hand deals with the geometry and analysis of special mechanisms with a focus on applications, which includes, e.g., motion planning, overconstrained linkages, and n-legged parallel manipulators. On the other hand we investigate the kinematics of different groups, where kinematic mappings are a major tool.
