Abstract
Corporate success on globalized markets is significantly influenced by the performance of purchasing departments and their managers. Therefore, competencies of purchasing professionals are highly relevant when designing staff policy plans in human-resource departments. This paper presents a data-based personnel development program for purchasing managers applying the KODE-Competence Atlas.
