Abstract
Recently we reported the synthesis and characterization of trans-bis(R-ethynyl)(meso-tetra-phenylporphyrinato)E(IV) (R= n-pentyl, phenyl, p-biphenyl, 9-phenantryl,… ; E(IV)=Si, Ge, Sn). These compounds revealed structural peculiarities, interesting reactivity and attractive opto-electronic properties. [1]
Herein, we present reactivity like Kocheshkov-reaction and opto-electronic properties of these trans-bis(R-ethynyl)(meso-tetra-phenylporphyrinato)E(IV) compounds and discuss first application in organic solar cells.
