ST04_LEC - Long Term Emission Compliance Strategies for Propulsion Applications

The overall goal is to investigate and develop strategies for large high-speed diesel engines in propulsion applications to comply with stringent emission legislation during the entire service life of the engine. In particular, this project focuses on diesel injectors as a very important aspect of the diesel engine concept which significantly influence the emission behavior. The aim is to avoid negative influences of injector wear and injector aging on engine performance and emission behavior with smart diesel injector technology.
