Simulation of pollution dispersion for the City of Graz

Task of the research project is to get a better understanding of the urban air quality and to get a better description of the emittor receptor relationship in urban areas. In order to achieve this following activities are necessary: (a) application and further develpoment of reasonable simulation models, (b) evaluation of the reliability of models using suitable methods (c) and creation of a data bank in order to make the data measured during the measurement campaigns easy available. Taking the pollution dispersion for the City of Graz as an example the beforementioned steps will be carried out. The air quality for the City of Graz will be simulated for selected meteorological situations.
