Description
A new approach is developed allowing for the statistical registration of passengers in public transportation systems. Parson Access points are mounted in selected tramcars and detect mobil phones with activated Bluetooth interface registering a part of the unique Bluetooth identification number. Hence it is possible to observe individual paths of passengers and to analyze the dynamical behavior of passenger streams.
