Lange integrale Brücken - Long integral bridges - [Original in Deutsch: Integralbrücken über 70 m Länge]

International experiences of integral and semi-integral bridges with lengths greater than 70 m will be systematically and scientifically studied. Together with further scientific studies, in which the main parameters of the integral or semi-integral bridges will be detected through model calculations and experiments, recommendations for the structural concept, the details of the construction, the production methods as well as the approaches for the realistic estimation of the earth pressure in the abutment zone will be derived. The results will be incorporated into a design manual. With the research results, more planning reliability of the advantageous integral bridges can be achieved.
