Description
The aim of this project is to reach better understanding of fuel cell systems capabilities from a technical point of view as well as an environmental, economical but also sociological assessment of the technology. The project will allow to gain field experience under life conditions, to identify problems and obstacles, to find solutions for improvements and thus to improve the future market chances. Electrical and thermal needs, safety issues, installation and operating procedures, related costs, customer acceptance will be assessed. In a first study the operational behaviour of a methanol FC was investigated.
