Description
DAVE is a large four-sided projection system that provides the perfect illusion of being in a computer-generated virtual world. This world surrounds the user (via "camera based tracking") so that the perspective is perfectly adapted to the position and orientation of the head. This way the user can freely walk around in an area of 3.3 x 3.3 meters, and observe from all sides virtual objects literally floating in mid-air.
