Project Details
Description
Within this project a new concept of a pellet fired micro-CHP unit with a capacity up to 10 kWel and 60 kWth will be investigated. This unit is using a water steam Rankine cycle with an innovative expander. Due to higher process parameters and a new control strategy, high efficiencies at full load as well as at part load and a highly variable CHP coefficient for this biomass micro-CHP are expected, which is of advantage for a cost-efficient system.
