Harald Burgsteiner, Dipl.-Ing. Robert Legenstein, and Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Thomas Natschläger. It investigates theoretical and applied problems in machine learning, as well as principles of information processing and learning in artificial and biological neural networks. For example, it investigates architectures and algorithms for computing with temporal patterns of pulses. This is a new computational paradigm from computational neuroscience that is currently implemented in novel artificial computing machinery. Further information about the research of this team can be found at http://www.igi.TUGraz.at/.
