Profile Information
Short Description:
This team consists of Assoc.Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Robert Legenstein, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Maass, MS Anand Subramoney, Master Guillaume Bellec, M.Tech Arjun Rao, Dipl.-Ing. Darjan Salaj, Dipl.-Ing. Franz Scherr, Dipl.-Ing. Ceca Kraisnikovic, Dipl.-Ing. Michael Müller and Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Limbacher. It investigates theoretical and applied problems in machine learning, as well as principles of information processing and learning in artificial and biological neural networks. For example, it investigates architectures and algorithms for computing with temporal patterns of pulses. This is a new computational paradigm from computational neuroscience that is currently implemented in novel artificial computing machinery.
