Abstract

Maroon is a virtual laboratory designed for learning expe-riences with virtual reality setups. It provides access to various simula-tions and experiments to learn and understand better physics. In a firststudy, the experience is evaluated with 14 prospective physics teachers toidentify and discuss the potential of the setup for the classroom. In thisstudy, we found that the experience was described as highly engaging andpromising as it makes the content more interesting for learners. However, also the need to provide specific VR learning in educational institutions,as well as proving pedagogical scenarios to support collaborative learningwere identified.
