Abstract
In the last two decades, electric power systems have undergone drastic changes mostly due to the liberalization of the sector and the growing penetration of renewable energy sources in the generation mix. This talk presents optimization and modeling techniques as decision support tools for multiple problems faced in electricity markets by both private and public entities. In particular, this talk encompasses topics such as optimization, game theory and bilevel programming.
