Abstract

In this work, a novel discretization scheme for the super-twisting algorithm is proposed. The approach relies on the discretization of the exact solution of the continuous-time algorithm. In this regard, the discretization chattering effect is avoided. Asymptotic stability of the unperturbed closed-loop system is proven by Lyapunov's direct method.
