Abstract

A non linear time domain method of moments algorithm is presented. It allows the calculation of transient fields of ESD from bodies of revolution. The arc is taken into account. Results are validated by measurement of currents and fields. Transient field data are presented in a form to enhance the understanding of the process of ESD and are applied to a problem of in-circuit coupling.
