Abstract

What is it to be an architect today, in a world that is effectively defined by digital technology? Here, we introduce our book with an overview of its structure, and we examine a particular way of thinking about architecture and computing that with this Atlas we mean to encourage. We also look at mastery and at becoming literate in the language of our era, which we postulate is coding.
