Abstract

Bosch and TU Graz evaluate mixture formation, combustion and exhaust gas emissions for a hydrogen engine. For testing a turbocharged SI engine has been adapted for hydrogen operation. Results demonstrate that significant functional potentials can be accomplished with already relatively moderate development effort.
