Abstract

To measure the bonding performance of textile in composite concrete sheets, the pulling test method from Stuttgart University of Germany was introduced and applied. The effects of specimen curing conditions and test machine's clipping size on the test results are discussed. Then, the effects of two processes, impregnating textile with epoxy and prestressing textile, on the interface bonding performance between textile and concrete were studied. Using Ohno and Hannant's theory the mechanism of the test method is investigated. Test results show that this test method is effective and that textile impregnating and prestresssing can improve the bonding performance between textile and concrete.
