Abstract

In this paper, the influence of LED video walls on wireless microphones is discussed. First the standard-compliant EMC measurement procedures are presented, which are needed to measure interference of such equipment. Afterwards measurements of the UHF spectrum at events and at a LED wall manufacturer were made to explore the actual failures caused by video walls. It was recognized that LED walls often cause problematic emissions that rise the bounds of the legal limits. These measurements are analyzed and discussed.
