Abstract

A two-component system for prodn. of a polymer comprises a component A comprising a monomer contg. a strained cycloolefin as a structural element (ROMP monomer) and a radical initiator; and a component B comprising a methacrylate, a catalyst for ring-opening metathesis polymn. (ROMP initiator), and a radical accelerator. The invention also relates to the use of the two-component system for fixing an anchoring device in a borehole. Preferably, the anchoring device is made of steel or iron, and the borehole is a borehole in mineral or metal substrate selected from concrete, aerated concrete, brickwork, sand-lime brick, sandstone, natural stone, glass, and steel.
