Asset management approach for railway track developed by TU Graz

Research output: Contribution to journalArticleResearch

Abstract

Austria’s asset management strategy has been developed at Graz University of Technology, within the Institute of Railway Engineering and Transport Economy, in close cooperation with the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
Here Matthias Landgraf and Markus Enzi from the Institute present an approach that enables the holistic asset management of track, combining a strategic top-down approach that deals with the average behaviour of track, as well as a bottom-up approach based on in-depth condition evaluations.
