WaxPrinting - WaxPrinting

The present research project sets the focus on additive fabrication processes, particular on methods for simultaneous printing technologies of wax and concrete. This method will be combined with a wax melting process and should enable a resource efficient automatic digital fabrication process for complex shaped concrete elements. The goal of the project is the study of hybrid printing processes and the prototypical development of printing facilities for reducing production time of complex shaped concrete elements of medium strength and batch size one.
