Description

In order to achieve the desired (climate) goals by the year 2030, increased efforts are necessary for a change in transport and mobility. In the Mobility Master Plan 2030, redistribution and redesign of public space are therefore central building blocks. In the RTI Agenda Mobility 2026, in addition to technological, structural and organisational developments, "necessary behavioural changes in the economy and society" are also described as essential. In the mission fields "cities", "urban mobility" is to be made climate-neutral, and in "regions", rural areas are to be mobilised and sustainably connected. The goals of the mission fields are also aligned with the strategy of "avoid, shift and improve". The lead project trans|formator:in addresses all 3 aspects: Traffic avoidance and shifting from car to active mobility is supported by attractive mobility spaces in the sense of the city of short distances; redistribution and redesign improves the quality of stay of the public mobility space.
