The use of over voltage suppressors on high voltage power lines to improve power quality

The analysis of the context between lightning strokes in the vicinity of high voltage overhead lines in mountainous areas and disturbances and flashovers on the power lines is the objective of the project. The use of metal-oxide over-voltage suppressors in selected areas (e.g. in areas with high probability of lightning strokes) should reduce the risk of damage and contribute to the reduction of voltage problems of sensitive consumers. not assigned GG: EVU not assigned KP: EVU
