Streckensperren Ostbahn - Long term effects of line-closing at the Steirische Ostbahn

In the context of this traffic study, the effects of long-term line closures on the Steirische Ostbahn in the course of electrification will be investigated. Depending on whether the existing Laßnitzhöhe tunnel will be rehabilitated or whether a new tunnel will be constructed in parallel, the blocking periods will vary in length. The effects on the passenger potential during and after the closures are to be determined. The investigation is carried out in two phases and takes into account the considerations and assumptions of the "Steirische Ostbahn traffic concept".
