Description

Basics of Solid/Liquid-Extraction with chemical reaction of metal oxides should be determined using a filter dust produced in steel mills. Data describing the morphology and content of this dust and of the solid residue phase after the extraction step are important for the modelling of the leaching process and for description of reaction kinetics. Tasks: Determination of the modifications of Zn, Pb and Fe forming the filter dust and describing the change in morphology of these species caused by leaching with water and carboxylic acids.
