Single phase sudden short circuits in variable speed generators

A mathematical model of a variable speed generator is developed. In addition to common used models zero sequence voltages and currents are taken into account. Thus allowing calculation and simulation of any kind of unbalanced load conditions of rotating variable speed machines.
