Security Policies

The institute participates in the discussion on the public use of cryptography and crypto-based secure technologies nationally as well as internationally. Activities in this context are broadly distributed and include consulting for the Austrian government, banks, and PTT, participating in working groups on information technology security, representating Austria at the OECD and the IFIP in this matter, and working in security related standardizing committies in the World Wide Web Consortium and in ÖNORM.
