Project Details
Description
Knowing the shape and size distributions of grain boundary and bulk precipitates in austenitic Cr-Mn-N steels is of eminent importance. However, it is equally important to obtain analytical information about the chemical composition of these precipitates. Especially the ratios (C/N)- and M/(C+N) are of primary relevance and can be obtained with AEM.
