Polymers with special optical properties (PSOP)

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Optical properties (refractive index, birefringence, reflectivity, optical loss) of polymers are important for development and production of optical and optoelectronic devices. This PSOP-project is divided into two parts: -The main goal of the first project part is to maximize effectiveness and enhance efficiency of the available PSOPs and adapt them to economic and environmental demands. -The second project part deals with the ongoing development of PSOPs based on silicone materials for waveguide applications in the printed circuit board.
