Description
To determine the corrosion rate, metal plates (corrosion coupons) are subjected to a cleaning treatment. This treatment includes a chemical pickling process and mechanical cleaning steps.
Afterwards the coupons are rinsed with acetone and get dried.
Currently , this cleaning is done purely manually.
