OPS-SAT is a planned experimental nanosatellite by European Space Agency (ESA). It will carry a reconfigurable payload composed of several processors and FPGAs. The main purpose is to test and demonstrate in-orbit reconfiguration of software and hardware and to verify new operational concepts. It will allow to upload experimental software and to carry out a variety of communications, autonomy operations and remote sensing experiments.
The current project covers the Phase A/B1 design activities including mission and system requirements.
