Applications occur at checking quality of recursive and
multiple recursive linear congruential generators and
at problems of simultaneous Diophantine approximation.
2. Reciprocity theorems for Dedekind sums and their
applications. The latter can be used to determine the
discrepancy of a sequence of multiples of an irrational
number and the two-dimensional discrepancy of a
sequence of pseudo random numbers generated by the linear
