Nonlinear Analysis of prestressed concrete beams with unbonded tendons

    Project: Research project

    Project Details

    Description

In this project, two new models are developed for nonlinear material and instantaneous as well as longterm analysis of concrete beams using unbonded tendons. It takes into account cracking of concrete, tension stiffening and effects of shear forces. Long term losses (creep and shrinkage) are considered as well as the contribution of the prestressing to the global stiffness.
