Description
In the course of this project the suitability of the GAX Cycle for a small scale absorption heat
pump will be evaluated as well as the necessity of the GAX Cycle alteration.
The gained know-how should serve as a knowledgebase for the development of a highefficiency
absorption heat pump well suited for the retrofit market, in particular. The expected
high efficiency (180% compared to the condensing boilers) of such systems presents a future
alternative to the condensing boilers technology.
