NetMSI - New Technologies for the Satellite Multimedia Infrastructure

The Institute won a project for the investigation and development of a novel monitoring system for satellite signals. Key parameters in satellite transmissions such as spectrum, power, frequency, accuracy and polarisation can be automatically measured and analysed. Automatic alarms will be generated in case of non-compliant signals. The contribution of the Institute is a low cost signal analysis system which has been derived from the modem development in the ESA project L*IP.
