MuD - IC Engine and Steam propulsion for vehicles [Original in Deutsch: Motor- und Dampf-Kombianbetrieb für KFZ]

CO2 emissions from passenger cars will be limited in 2020 to 95 g/km. Therefore, all possibilities for increasing the efficiency must be exploited. The energy recovery of waste heat or exhaust enthalpy is a still untapped potential to increase energy efficiency. Objective of the project is a perfect match of ICE and a downstream steam cycle.
