Modeling of two-phase boundary layers

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The present project attempts to get a profound insight into the interaction between the bubbly vapour phase and the liquid phase in a subcooled thermal boundary layer. Detailled experimental investigations shall help to capture the impact of the vapour bubble dynamics on the boundary layer flow in terms of a reliable model. The obtained results are intended to strongly support the activities in the modeling of the subcooled boiling flow.
