Model-based control algorithms for chassis and powertrain systems

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The major task of the project is the development and implementation of highly sophisticated control algorithms for complex mechatronic systems The development of model-based control strategies requires a deep insight and profound understanding into the dynamic systems to be controlled. Necessary steps are the derivation of mathematical models, the development of suitable controller strategies and finally the integration into the optimized structure of embedded software systems. The scientific impact of the project is remarkable as it closes a gap between theory and practice in the automation of complex systems. Besides its results are valuable to MSF (MAGNA STEYR Fahrzeugtechnik) in view of future activities.
