MatchSim - Multi modal trip chain simulation for individual daily routines

MatchSim provides an agent-based simulation tool to analyse and improve the ecomobility transport system of Vienna. A microscopic activity based travel demand model including information on trip chains, mode choice and route choice will be implemented for Vienna. The model will be calibrated based on comprehensive mobile phone data. Interdependencies between multimodal life styles and the capacity restraints of transport supply and infrastructure by Wiener Linien and the city of Vienna will be modelled. The simulation tool will be tested by optimizing the locations of an eBike rental system in the Transdanubia districts of Vienna.
