LEAD-Ortskernentwicklung - Application of a local development process under consideration of cultural-political requirements

The objective of this project is to develop the center of a rural community. Special attention shall be given to traffic safety in public areas, the precarious parking situation in the city center and the integration of public transport systems. In addition, parking spaces for electro-mobility and bicycles are to designed. The priority of the development is the creation of a safe and attractive encounter zone. For an optimal solution, the residents are involved early in the project in order to respond to their needs. In the first step architecture concepts need to be developed for the different variations. Then they are to be analyzed as well as evaluated technically and economically, especially concerning budgets and timelines of the different variations.
