Description

The project "Konzeption und Umsetzung von E-Government-Funktionen in den elektronischen Systemen der Landesverwaltung" is a cooperative project between "Amt der Steiermärkischen Landesregierung, Fachabteilung 1B, Informationstechnologie" and "Knowledge Management Institute (KMI), Graz University of Technology". Administrations nowadays are forced to shift their operations to electronic and particularly online platforms to improve efficiency, convenience and better accessibility of public services. In particular, "Land Steiermark" has the intention to make most of their processes and services available via Internet in the next few years. Examples of these services are: filing of application via Internet, digital signature, e-payment, central name and address registers, electronic delivery of notifications, etc. KMI/TU-Graz supports the E-Government department of "Land Steiermark" in the realisation of this plan/enterprise. With their expertise in the areas of knowledge management, knowledge transfer and E-Government and their fundamental knowledge of necessary technologies KMI/TU-Graz assists "Land Steiermark" especially in the following fields: - development of concepts for E-Government solutions - architectural design of E-Government applications and services - prototypical implementation of E-Government applications and services
