The author of this thesis identifies, analyses and categorizes key success factors of the strategy implementation process a very important change process. Based on interviews with experts actionable recommendations are derived. Focus of the thesis are strategy projects in large enterprises, which were significantly supported by top management consultants in the phase of the strategy development and possibly as well support at the beginning of the implementation phase. Most of the identified key success factors can be translated for strategy projects without consulting support any many key success factors are also valid for small and medium enterprises.
