Hölzl - Modelling and Control of Conditioning Units for Test Beds

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

On a test bed the device under test has to be supplied by conditioned media (air, water, fuel, oil etc.). For example the intake air of an internal combustion engine has to be well-defined concerning pressure, temperature and humidity. Subject of this work is the modelling of existing conditioning units and, building on that, a model based control. Furthermore the insight gained during the modelling process can be used for redesigns improving the conditioning units.
