Geodetic Optimization

In this field of work the emphasis is put on the optimization of geodetic networks, on the analysis of regular structures by means of spectral techniques, and currently, on the use of combinatorial optimization for geodetic questions. Especially, graph theory problems occuring in vector-structured networks of Geographical Information Systems are handeled. For the treatment of extensive graphs in connection with particular projects, algorithms for best routes and locations are developed.
