Description

The reconstruction and modeling of cities from terrestrial acquired data has become an important research area in the computer vision as well as in the computer graphics community. Virtual city models have a widely spread range of applications like city planning, surveying, emergency training as well as the simulation of wind, flooding, traffic and radio transmission. In this project we focus on several very specific problems encountered during the first four years working on the preceding (city scanner) project.
