Project Details

Description

The Research Studio "Flex-Fuel-Reformer" develops a small repeating cell of a membrane reformer for Hydrocarbons in a power range between 0.5-1kW. The small repeating cell can be simply numbered up to give higher power ranges, and can be used for example in a fuel cell auxiliary power unit (APU) or as a small scale H2-production unit. All components of the reformer unit will be planned in the laboratory and will be independently tested and optimized. The existing infrastructure of the fuel cell laboratory will be supplemented in order to interconnect and coordinate the different components of the reformer unit.
