FANI2 - Characterisation of uncertainties for the development and validation of models and algorithms in railway applications

Dynamic vehicle behavior of rail cars needs to satisfy basic requirements with respect to stability, derailment security, mechanical stress, travelling comfort, etc. In this project we conduct statistical analysis to explore the relation between safety values related to the dynamic vehicle behavior and the corresponding maintenance levels of the railway track.
